Web site gives cash for older cell phones Jessica Durando November 25,2005 As of this year, there are at least 200 million cell phones in circulation throughout the world and up to 500 million older models no longer being used.
Those no longer being used have been stashed away in various places, including desk drawers, according to a survey by Inform Inc.
College students have complained about the accumulation of out-of-date cell phones they own and also the limited durability of cell phones in general.
Christiana Zuk, a Rutgers College sophomore, said she has had problems with her phones in the past.

Of course it\'ll have a digital camera and camcorder, undoubtedly a double-layer DVD burner, a TV, built-in GPS, and maybe even a personal fax machine. Me? You know how I\'m handling it all: I\'ll keep using my old cell phone until it stops working. (Advertisers just hate older people.)
